    ELMER BERNARD

Elmer Bernard is the founder and CEO of SIBO Clinic Canada, a private breath testing facility located in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, specializing in SIBO breath testing and interpretation.

Elmer has studied health and nutrition for more than 20 years, with specific focus on the microbiome. He has achieved Functional Medicine and SIBO certifications, and is currently enroll in the Functional Medicine Health Coaching program (FMHC) which is recognized internationally. He is highly experienced in breath test analysis.

Elmer, an avid athlete and outdoor enthusiast, has a passion for weight training and healthy living. Eight years ago, things spiralled out of control when he started to suffer from debilitating digestive issues. Frustrated and unable to find the answers or support he needed, his journey into the world of SIBO began. He quickly discovered he was not alone in his symptoms or frustration and that wait times for SIBO testing were at least a year, sometimes longer.

Elmer felt the wait times were unacceptable and he was determined to do something to change it. He decided to step away from a lengthy career in the finance industry to focus his full attention on helping other people who suffer with SIBO.

Through SIBO Clinic Canada, Elmer provides a detailed, timely analysis of results, as well as unwavering support and clear direction to clients. Clients then work with a practitioner to find proper protocols that will ease symptoms and regain health.

After overcoming his own battle with SIBO, Elmer now enables others do the same, not just as a testing facility, but as a much needed support system as well.

    Sandy Rideout

Sandy Rideout, also known as Doc Sibo, is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) who helps people from all over the world with complex health issues. These are often folks dealing with long-lasting health problems who struggle to manage their symptoms and function normally on a day-to-day basis. Sandy specializes in SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), hormonal imbalances and the importance of sufficient levels of B12.

Sandy is also known for his informative YouTube channels called "B12 Deficiency Uncovered" and "DOC SIBO," where he shares valuable insights and information on these health topics.

Sandy created and designed a remarkable resource tool known as the SIBO Mind Map, thus far the only one in existence. It is a comprehensive resource that contains over 2000 peer-reviewed published papers about SIBO. Bringing everything there is to know about sibo into one place.

In addition to the SIBO Mind Map, Sandy is the creator of the world's only interactive Methylation Map. Methylation is a critical biochemical process in your body that involves adding a "methyl group" to various molecules. This process is crucial in controlling gene expression, DNA repair, detoxification, and more. Sandy's Methylation Map helps people understand and explore this complex process, making it easier to grasp and manage.

Functional Medicine Consulting is like being a health detective. Sandy looks for what's causing the problems in your body by finding out what's not working well and fixing those imbalances. He believes in treating the whole person who has the disease, not just the disease that the person has. Working with you and sometimes your doctor, they investigate your health history, recent blood tests, and symptoms to determine what's wrong. Sometimes, more specialized functional tests are needed for a clearer picture.

Functional Medicine is all about understanding your unique body chemistry and how your cells work. Your body needs the right nutrients to function at its best. If you miss even one essential nutrient, like B12, your body won't balance, leading to health issues. Medical diagnoses like depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, and asthma don't tell us about these nutrient imbalances.

I believe in empowering individuals to take control of their own health and well-being by addressing the underlying causes of their health challenges. I strive to educate and support my clients on their journey to optimal health.

Sandy's booking calendar will be open soon.
